“This is my second month to have it. The first month I had the small grain silica litter but it tracked everywhere and was like sand even with the litter mat so I switched to the regular silica. They both control odor extremely well but the regular silica still tracks albeit not near as bad as the fine grain. And some of the pieces are sharp which made my childs foot bleed when she stepped on one that was two whole rooms away from where the litter box is. SO, I'm not sure what to do.”
“Very pleased with this litter. Easy to maintain litter box and odor control is good when changing boxes every 3 weeks. Two cat household will two boxes.”
“When I first started with Kitty Poo Club, I used the fine silica for a long time. I decided to try the regular silica because it said it would have less dust. While it is true that the dust is less, I prefer the fine silica. The fine silica is more forgiving if you happen to miss cleaning the box one day. I found that the urine tends to not dissipate as well. In addition, feces are "less covered" so to speak, so I had more odor issues. I am switching back to the fine silica.”
