“I have one cat and months ago switched over to silica from clumping litter. My female 10 year old cat had no trouble transitioning. The convenience of delivery and disposing of the box and litter makes and extra cost worth it to me. My preference is to change boxes every three weeks. I use the whole bag of litter. The other big convenience is not having to accumulate big clumps of litter to put in the garbage. I stir the litter daily and solid waste gets flushed down the toilet. When Kitty Poo Club had supply problems last fall, I bought other silica from Chewy and Pet Smart but none had as good odor control as the silica from Kitty Poo Club, plus I had to empty the litter box and wash it.”
