“I was worried when I ordered my first box if my cats would use it since my cats were older and had never used silica litter. They took to it with no problem. It is easy to set up, maintain, and dispose of at the end of the month. Best of all, no odor! This system has been a game changer for us.”
“I am currently on my second order of Kitty Poo. The silica does a fair job of blocking the odor. I do notice they do a great job of absorbing the urine. I love the ease of swapping out the litter and that each box takes up less space than the litter boxes I was using. I pay about $7 more a month for Kitty Poo than I did for the Crystals I used previously. My only complaint is that I think they need to provide more in the bag. I switched from using the Fresh Step Crystals which was an 8lb bag in each litter box and lasted the full month with no odor. I have 3 cats with 3 litter boxes and liked the idea of Kitty poo because it would remove the hassle of disinfecting the litter boxes when swapping out the cat litter each month. We are very good about cleaning the litter boxes each day. I am noticing a slight smell as we got closer to the 4th week which I think is because we don’t start out with enough of the silica product in each little box. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Hopefully that’s something that can be improved upon. Not enough for me to quit just yet. I want to continue to use the product and see how things go. I’m all for cleaner and more convenience.”
“I’m so glad my two kitties like it because I think it’s great, box smell is near or maybe at a 1 or a 0. At first they did not like the box it came in and I had to use the old litter box, but it’s been a few weeks and they are starting to show some interest now in using the box.”
“This litter tracks a lot and this may be better for an older cat but didn’t work well with my kitten who, is no fault of kitty poo, has GI issues we are working through and this litter just didn’t work for us! I’d bet the smaller grain silica would work much better!”
