“I have my cats' litter boxes outdoors in an enclosed porch, which can be exposed to weather and the cats would track clay litter all over the wood floors every time it rained. The litter boxes were also plastic and I could never get them clean enough and they stunk! I've had no litter tracking since we started using the silica litter. Also, one of our cats tended to pee on the side of the litter box, which would occasionally hit the floor, but and the domes solved that problem!
