“This is a great product. Though I have cancelled my membership (due to the expense) it has made me aware of and switch to the crystal litter for my box. So much cleaner and oder free. It's a good idea, but to expensive for me.”
“I really like my kitty poo being delivered every month. Its easy to change The boxes out. Its starting to get kind of pricey though. If it keeps going up i might have to cancel. I wish my cats would keep the litter in the box or at least on the mat. They seem to track it threw the house still.”
“(1) THE BOX: Whoever the box engineer(s) were on this, bravo!! (a) the box is large enough to hold both my cats if they are so inclined AND sturdy enough to hold both my cats; (b) the outside of the box stays dry - absolutely zero sogginess to report; (c) the dome is so nice to help provide privacy, extra space for my cats to wipe their paws [they are so weird], and I think helps with tracking; it's also nice that it lasts for awhile so you can reuse the domes; (d) the lid! oh my goodness, the lid - first, when the box is open, you put the lid underneath the box for added stability AND THEN when it's time to swap boxes, the lid actually stays tight onto flattened box to keep the litter contained when you throw it out BRAVO, the Box! (2) THE LITTER: (a) it still tracks, but it probably tracks the *least* of any silica litter I've tried; (b) odor control - my two cats used two boxes [although they have a space preference, so probably use one box 60-75% of the time] for 4 weeks, at the ~3/3.5 week mark their was a slight smell, but it wasn't overpowering except in the room it was kept in - A+ for odor control! I plan to switch out every 3-4 weeks depending on the need. The other litter & box delivery service could only handle about 1-1.5 weeks.; (c) the litter comes into a bag which you need to then dump into the box, it is a *little* dusty when you dump it out, but that's the only time I notice any dust. (3) THE SCOOP - this is my only problem. Don't buy the Kitty Poo scoop with this litter, the granules are too big to sift through. I have another scoop I use with this litter. Overall, BRAVO - and a far superior choice to the other litter & box delivery service (when compared, KPC's box is five million times better (bigger, waterproof, no sogginess, the addition of the dome, the lid all points for KPC) and KPC's litter far out performs the competition. The only issue is the scoop - but that is something you can get elsewhere!”
“My cat has tried four different types of litter to experiment with the balance of odor control and functionality of scooping. We have been using the fine grain silica and it has done well with odor control and ability to scoop her feces, but she loves to kick it everywhere and it’s fine and goes everywhere. She uses the kitty poo club box with the hood attachment thing for preventing your cat from flinging litter everywhere, but if litter flinging were an Olympic sport, my cat would win gold. We tried out the regular silica (larger pieces and reminds me of little pebbles). She was not a fan. She would not dig and kick it everywhere (yay), but then her feces sat atop the litter and reeked. We used the regular silica for a week and the smell was too much. I added some of the fine grain silica to see if I could fine her a happy medium until our next shipment. After another week I threw in the towel and switched her back to the fine grain and purchased a primarily enclosed litter box. I do feel the feces is easier to scoop out with the fine grain silica litter and it provides better odor control for urine and stool. If your cat is a pebble loving kind of lady or gent, I’d say give it a shot. If they like feeling like they’re walking on powdery sand, go with the fine grain silica. We love the fine grain silica and shame on me for thinking that the grass may have been greener on the other side.”
