“When we first joined the KittyPoo Club, our cat kept trying to climb on the cardboard, teetering on the edges. So I cut the lid with at least an inch ledge all the way around and it made the whole structure substantial enough for her to climb on as often as necessary. When the new box came in, I just used the new lid to facilitate disposal- and transferred the cut lid to the new box. It’s been over a year and the lid is still in great shape. I don’t as worried when the box changed and the lid was set as part of the moisture barrier, but we have not had any leakage. As for the litter, we are big fans, this is far easier than scooping clumps.”
