“I was using a corn-based "99% dust free" clumping product in a plastic box. While the product starts off with dust-free kernels, over time the litter break apart and form a lot of dust. The room it was in was covered in layer of dust. I had to try something, so tried the KittyPooClub silica crystals. I've now gone 4 weeks and received my replacement shipment. The room does not have any dust. There are occasional crystals that get kicked out of the box, but they are much easier to see and clean up than the other litter. I was worried about the cardboard boxes holding up to Cat#1 that constantly urinates. By the 4th week, the litter was quite yellow and there were a lot of clumps of urine-soaked small crystals at the bottom of the box. However, I just picked up the box to replace it, and nothing soaked through and the plastic tray underneath (just in case!) was clean and dry. There was really no odor to complain of, even after stirring. There was a little urine smell towards the end of the 4th week, probably due to soaked crystals I mentioned. Separately, Cat#2 (normal health) had a much cleaner box by week 4 and no smell whatsoever. A big bag of the highly-rated corn litter was $37. Two KittyPoo boxes is $47/mo. So for $10, I have no dust, don't have to clean boxes, and don't have to go to the store. It's worth it to me.”
“I love that I can replace the box every month. I don't have to worry about smells or deep cleaning a traditional box. (Advise you to scoop and mix up the litter every day or two to ensure the box/litter lasts.”
“Love this! Wasn’t sure if it was going to last the whole month, but it did! Just can’t decide if I like the regular grain silica or the fine grain. It’s great to be able to just throw the box away.”
