This litter box has changed our lives. No more smelly box. Our kitten adapted immediately to it. Our friends are very impressed too. Love it!

I just inherited 2 cats. I have one box, but will use 2 in the future. I found that I do like to mix traditional clumping litter in this mix. It seems to remove more moisture in those tight corners that the cats seem to use. I use about 1/3 regular litter, and the rest is the silica. Works great!

I purchased one box with silica litter as a test run before switching over completely from my current plastic bins with clay litter. One cat followed me to where I set it up and IMMEDIATELY used it, with the other checking it out about an hour later... I think she might be hesitant about the size of the granules. I personally already love that this product is much lighter weight than what I have been using and with significantly less dust.

After a short transition our cats accepted the new litter readily, although they seem to prefer the fine grained silica over the coarse grained.

So far so good after I got some support from the company about transitioning from the old litter box to the new box. I think it would be better to have at least 1 to 2 more cups of litter in the typical bag order. It seems to be a lot of work for my cat to cover.

It is true that even after several weeks of use there is no odor with this litter, which is amazing. However, the dust is unlike anything I have ever seen. All around my apartment are dusty footprints from my cat -- even on bedding and furniture you can see it -- and every time I shift the litter there is a whole cloud that emerges. So be prepared to cough with this one. It also tracks everywhere, and since the grains are slightly larger, we step on them all the time, which crushed them into dust and then just increases the dust problem.
