“I started out with fine silica but it produced to much dust. The larger silica has much less dust and works well. They last a month but delivery is sometime slow so keep a eye on the saturation of the litter and order sooner. The boxes are great, I love getting all clean boxes and litter every month.”
“The problem I was trying to fit with Kitty Poo was odor. Our cat boxes are in the finished basement behind a half propped door and we still struggled with smelling the urine throughout the basement and first floor landing. This is our second month using Kitty Poo. The first month we used the larger silica liter and it was odorless for the entire month! We even asked multiple friends for their opinion. The second month I tried the fine-grain silica and there was a little bit more of an odor, but not anywhere near as bad as plain liter. I’ve now signed on for the monthly subscription and will be using the larger silica liter from here on out.”
“It is the best thing going out there for kitty litter. Great price! I love the whole idea being disposable. My cat had no problem changing to silica. I give it 4 stars because I have to add some kitty litter to it because my cat wasn’t happy with not having ample digging. Also, the silica absorbs the pee which is great. I smell nothing but apparently my cat did bc she quit using the litter box after the first week. This is when my husband and I started researching why cats just randomly quit using their box. Cats can be very picky about their box. The only two things we could come up with were the two mentioned above.. not enough dig and not liking the yellow silica balls filled with pee. Our solution to by a cheap bag of non clumping cat litter. Add to silica balls. She got to dig more with her litter plus the combination of litter gave great absorption of pee. All I do is pick out poo. She went immediately back to using her cat litter. No problems since then.”
