We are on box number 2. I feel that it has helped the smell of the "litter box" in the house. Kitty seems to like it and we havent had any issues!

Romeo is almost 30 years old so I didnt want to upset him but he loves to kick the litter out of the box. I couldnt take the little crystals or the clay clumps. The high sides on the box are perfect. There is no dust and very little of the litter is kicked out. Actually, I think he likes it because it looks like diamonds. What cat wouldnt like diamond litter?

My cat has used this box from day one with no problems. My first month I had chosen the clay litter which wasn’t right for my cat. I contacted customer service and received a super fast reply. They helped me choose another type of litter and made all the changes for me. This silica litter is perfect for us! Thank you!!

This is the best thing I have found for my two wild fur children! Easy to keep clean, and no stinky clay litter or powder and dust everywhere.

I have had cats for many, many years! Eventually, as much as you love cats, you get really, really, really tired of litter boxes, lugging litter, etc. One of my present cats is a little litter box diva - he hates odor build up or any materials in his box. As a busy mom, its challenging for me to remember to scoop the box every day, so I was happy to give these a try hoping for odor control and a little less maintenance PLUS lightweight. Max would deem the litter box too dirty for his tastes, and eliminate next to them (where I keep piddle pads just for this reason). Its been 4 months now and I am pleased. We are finally at a point where I am not seeing any accidents outside the boxes !! I keep 3 boxes for 2 cats - one in our bathroom, and two downstairs in the cat "potty" area, so that Max has lots of choices. I use the dome tops because our other cat, Snickerdoodle, thinks she is a wild jungle cat and likes to horizontally spray pee, a downside to letting her go outside and get in touch with her inner huntress. Poos are easy to visually see on the white silica litter, a good reminder for me to do a quick scoop (paired with a Litter Genie). I stir the litter every day to couple of days. The urine odor is basically non-existent until the end of the month. I have tried the fine and the large, and this month one box is the clay, to see which I and the cats like best. Cons: Poos do stink when they are fresh, especially with the larger silica litter. The litter does track - I am working on different set up to eliminate this. Max had a UTI last month where he was trying to use the litter box every 20 minutes and digging like crazy = litter everywhere. The litter is dusty, especially the fine, but not much more than other litters. Pro: The silica litter is so light. Changing boxes out at the end of the month is a breeze and almost a pleasure - no stinky urine sticky pans to scrub. Remove the dome, remove the plastic sides, sweep the area around and dump it in the box, fold it down, replace the lid, and off to the garbage bin. I vaccuum, set up new piddle pads, assemble the new box, and we are good to go with no urine smell and a clean potty. Scooping the poo out is quick and easy - get the KittyPoo scooper if you order the large silica litter - its too big for most storebought scoop slots.
