“We have 6 cats so I am very familiar with litter. Several peed and/or pooped outside the box on a regular basis (medically fine per the vet, just expressing their disdain) despite the fact we had several litter boxes (5). I was at my wits end trying to manage this and to be honest, we are not the best at regularly scooping and changing the litter, so I can't really blame the cats. Litter delivery seemed like a luxury but decided to try it as the cats were destroying our house. I have now used x 5mo and am delighted to review. 1. I love the fact that I can change my order every month (re: number of boxes, type of litter, and even date of delivery). I started out ordering 5 boxes but soon learned I really only need about 3 each month. So you're not stuck if you initially sign up for something that's not right for your pets. Cost is about 30% more than using store bought litter but the convenience of having it show up at my house at the right times is amazing. 2. I wasn't sure what type of litter to try so have tried them all. Here are my thoughts: --Clay: definitely my cat's favorite. There's not enough litter in the bag, so I supplement with store-bought litter during the month. Not my favorite litter because it's kinda messy but hey, cats are in charge here. --Soy: definitely my favorite litter but the cats aren't as fond of it. I think that if the pieces were half the current size, they might use it more. I like it because it is by far the cleanest, has the least dust, has zero smell, and cleans easily. So I still put out a soy box, but it will last 2-3 months because of limited use. --Silica: the cats didn't like the large size silica (imagine putting your cat on small sharp rocks) and we often stepped on what they scattered. I stopped buying this after the first month. The small silica is nice because it has minimal smell even when used. However, I'm not as excited about the silica dust for lung health, and when it scattered on the floor, like the large silica, it tends to leave white smudges. These come up but are just a little messy. I used the small silica for a while but now think I prefer clay and soy. --Boxes: you don't really need a lid unless you don't want the litter to show. The ONE thing I wish was different was that the company had an option to opt-out of getting the plastic strips which slide on the box edges to keep them from collapsing. I don't really need new ones for every box, every month and don't like making the extra waste. I don't like the box waste, but the cardboard is recyclable which is a plus. In my experience, the boxes (with the lid placed underneath) have not leaked at all. --Mats: I got a few mats to catch the litter but one of my cats pooped on the mat the first week (on the rough side of the mat) and it was impossible to clean and stained. So I have flipped all the mats over to have a smooth surface which has been better. 3. We now have many more litter boxes available for the cats and on all floors of the house and multiple rooms (I count 8 at present). Since we have more boxes, they don't get nearly as messy, so I don't have to scoop litter as often and some boxes are only used a few times each month so I don't have to replace them every month and they can last maybe 3 months. It also means the cats have more choices all over the house and, most importantly, not a single cat has gone outside the litter box in FIVE MONTHS!!! (1 episode the first week) This has made the service truly lifesaving for our family. Easier for me, easier for the cats, saves the floor, saves a lot of time in purchasing litter, cleaning boxes, and cleaning up after annoying cats. Not everyone likes having open litter boxes everywhere but they really have minimal to no smell and our house is so much better than before. I have dogs and while they used to try to sneak kitty treats from the most popular overflowing litter box, for whatever reason they do not touch these boxes. So over 5 months I went from being a desperate skeptic who muttered cat curses under my breath, to deciding that for us, this has been an amazing service and worth every penny, especially for a multi-cat household. Thank you to this company.”
“My cat loves tiki stix. I had never heard of them before joining the kitty poo club but I ordered a pack and my cat went nuts. Now I get several packs with every shipment.I love them because they’re very easy to use I just squeeze it into her bowl and she goes bananas. It can be very difficult to get out of the house sometimes, she likes to crowd the door, and these treats make that process a whole lot simpler.”
“My herd of cats for some reason aren’t particularly fond of treats except for these and it can get a little ugly when they see me opening one of these tubes they love it plus I know it is good for them which makes it even better”
