“Koh dishwasher tablets aren't the cheapest on the market. So I looked at, then brought the next most reputable brand (found in every supermarket). And yes, they were ⅔ the cost per tablet compared to Koh.
By a month later though, the dishes were coming out with food over EVERYTHING.
Some items were needing 3 wash-cycles to get them clean.
So we checked and topped up the rinse aid. No effect.
Cleaned the machine's filter. No effect.
Got in with the tooth pick and rummaged down all the little holes of the spin-arms. No effect.
Brought more Koh, and tossed the cheaper brand. (Yes I wouldn't even use the last of them - it simply wasn't worth the amount of precious water we were wasting.)
Lesson learned.
Use good quality rinse aid; keep the filters and the spin arms clean and don't buy anything but Koh.”
