Hi Elsje, Generally, the cause of any streaking is due to spraying too much of the Universal Cleaner and what you are seeing is the residue remaining on the floor. We recommend a light spray and a ’less is more' approach for best results. Also ensure your mop pad is dry to begin with, as a wet mop pad will not work well and spread the solution around rather than soak it up. I often swap out my mop pad for a fresh one if I'm tackling a large surface area.
The final thing is sometimes, although it's quite rare, some customers have not applied enough pressure when mopping which has left too much of the solution on the ground.

“I have already written to your Company with regard to the absolutely disgustingly shoddy construction of the mop I've jsut received. My previous mop with you probably lasted about 3 years, which I still though was too soon for the plastic to crack & break, but accepted it as a sign of the times. However, when receiving a new one, fully paid for, I noted that virtually every seam on the different parts of the liquid holder section of the mop are really badly made, none are sealed properly & there are large gaps through each & every seam. I have written to your Company but received a very off-hand remark, which surprised me somewhat as you try to portray your Company as one that sells a top quality product… well look again at the mops, whoever is making them for you is a having the last laugh as this alone will put many people off of using you at all… Kind regards… Soo Williams (Mrs)”
“Just purchased this mop LOVE it. I have a dog and in this wet weather floor always needs a mop. Normal mop leaves floor too wet and too long to dry. Steam mop ok but a bit of a disappointment leaves floor streaky. Koh mop fantastic no harder than sweeping the floor and no streaks Recomnend”
