“We have a lot of fine washable merino garments (Icebreaker, Macpac, Kathmandu, Overland Studio etc. ) which we've always washed with a regular non-wool detergent (with enzymes and optical brighteners) without ill effects (as in, each garment went through probably at least 0 washes by now). The first time we used Koh laundry liquid we ended up with holes in most of them - about a $1000 worth of garments for me to mend ( The packaging says quotA versatile laundry liquid that covers all your laundry needsquot, and it doesn't have a warning saying to not wash wool.
Using it for bedsheets and towels now.”
