“I'm disappointed by the overall printing quality of the "artbook". I was expecting a glossy print, but the colors are quite dull. Looking at the cover pages of each calendar, you can tell they’re low-quality scans that were directly reprinted. The shiny or holographic effects come out very poorly. It’s quite disappointing.
You learn some interesting information on each calendar design but I would not recommend.”
Oh no, we’re sorry to hear the Artbook didn’t meet your expectations. We deliberately chose an uncoated paper to accurately reproduce the original feel and colors of the original calendars. We did not specify that the paper was glossy, but please let us know if any specific communication was misleading!
All calendar artwork images come directly from our original digital files, not scans. The holographic effects from the calendar covers can’t be reproduced in print, so we made sure to try and represent these well using high-quality photographs. Either way, we hope you enjoy all the lore and behind the scenes stories! Thanks for your support <3
