“What can I say about this year's Human Era calendar that hasn't already been said? I like that the subject this year is a bit less abstract, so the art is too: everything Kurzgesagt designs is beautiful, but it's sometimes nice to have something that doesn't need to be 'decoded' as much. Everything is clear and readable as always, with enough space to let everything breathe without taking away from the sense that so much is happening in each image. The calendar itself is made of good, strong materials, so I don't worry about it getting torn or seriously damaged. The only problem is that, like in previous years, it's so beautiful that I keep avoiding actually using it as a calendar and marring it with my chicken-scratch handwriting!”
