“Definitely very beautiful & has a lot of detail, especially the little hidden details in the pictures. Sometimes I just sit & admire it, and shine a flashlight on the shiny patterns on the cover...it makes me happy. I have enjoyed the little descriptions that come with each picture & have learned new stuff from it. My only sorrow is that one day it will decay away & I shall be without it's beauty in my life....until I buy the 2026 calendar. Postage was very quick to New Zealand, and packaging was great. It also brings good fortune, as only good things (like having a box of 25 packets of candy canes) have come into my life since owning it. Buy it now!!! Added bonus is that it will help me with learning the days of the week & other stuff, which I struggle with due to my ADHD.”
“I've said this for several years, but the quality of the Human Era Calendar (HEC) has really gone downhill. I've had almost every single years HEC since it's inception in 2016, excluding the dinosaur styled calendar. The design itself is excellent. That's not in question.
However, in terms of the product quality: the cardstock has gotten much flimsier over time, the hole punch to hold it up is a low quality feature that was switched to when the original was spiral bound with a metal bar to hold it up, and they lengthened the calendar so that there was more space to write in for each day. However, the smarter option would have been to make it wider horizontally, as it still isn't enough space for each day. It should also come with stickers for daily tasks, like most calendars nowadays.”
“Amazing quality and concept. I love the calendar. I have been purchasing the calendar since 2023. I have been a Patreon supporter for about two years when I used to earn in USD. Now I have moved back to India and earn a little less, so...
Reason for removing one star:
The design does not allow for framing the pictures, which I would like to do after the end of the year. I don't want to throw it away, and if it could be repurposed as wall art, I would rate it 5/5.
Problem 1 of 2: There is a hole in the picture/paper, which is for hanging the calendar, but it would not look nice if I put it in a frame.
Problem 2 of 2: The description of the image is on a different page. Although it appears on the same side when it's hung as intended, it's not usable even if I cut it as it's on the back of the next month's image.
I would be so happy if these two problems were addressed in the design.”
“This calendar is absolutely gorgeous! The detail that goes into each month’s art and blurb is astounding and I can’t wait to learn more as the year progresses.”
