“I ordered the Deep Sea Poster on November 6, intending it as a gift for my niece in Spain. My wife was scheduled to fly to Europe 10 days later and planned to hand-deliver it, avoiding customs fees that my brother, who faces financial constraints, would otherwise have to pay. Unfortunately, the package arrived 20 days after my order, long after my wife’s departure.
To ensure my niece received the gift, we had to reorder the same poster within Europe. The new order not only arrived earlier than the one from the U.S. but also made it from the Netherlands to Spain faster than the American shipment's domestic journey. Adding to my frustration, the original package was shipped using UPS Mail Innovations, a service without guaranteed delivery timelines, which wasn’t clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
The delay not only disrupted our plans but also caused additional expenses. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I am unlikely to make future purchases from Kurzgesagt unless delivery transparency improves.”
