“Without the time scale laid out there is no way to get an understanding of how long it took life to reach life beings alive today. Living things are so underrated. One thing I don’t understand though about mammalian divergence how it was snails fire flies lizards alone to teets pinaes canines skin and no more eggs insects or anthropods becoming mammals is an total metamorphosis couldn’t be selection or pressure there isn’t enough time or environmental changes the period is between two extinctions and even behaviourly life was defensive and scavengers relatively fresh out of water. I was thinking water giant predators maybe started starving and realized their food moved to the land and a second wave of predator amphibians that then more quickly and off of DNA in their new prey adapted to lands and became mammals. Realising today only cats and dogs are carnivores predator mammals and their descendants I can’t really think of another carnivorous predator all others omnivores make sense. What am I missing I ask myself on as I overwrite not a review in the review”
