A - THE ORIGINAL was the first product developed when Johan Bülow was inspired to coat liquorice with chocolate - something that was not seen before in Denmark. People were at first sceptical about the idea, but the popular product A - THE ORIGINAL soon saw the light of day. The combination of sweet liquorice, exclusive milk chocolate and fine liquorice powder is, according to many, instantly addictive.

“This was a Christmas gift to myself, love the original, my favourite. Love liquorice, love chocolate, so chocolate liquorice is a win, win! Great service and communication. Great product, excellent quality. Bit pricey so not an everyday purchase but for special occasions and gifts it's perfect.”
