“I was expecting a hole in the base of the fitting and access to the inside to make the connection. The unit comes hard wired with a two-core cable. Fine for under cabinate lighting but not so great for a ceiling light. The unit is so light and so slimline I thought I may have made a mistake purchasing it. However I was very pleasantly surprised at the light output.”
