“I bought this to replace a failed ballast in a bathroom mirror (one of a pair driving two T5 tubes). The original ballast was a different shape so I had to drill a new hole in the casing for a self tapping screw to mount the new part. Other than that it was simply a matter of swapping the wires over and crossing my fingers! It works just fine, though it is a slow starter compared to the original ballast which is probably a good thing for the tube that it's driving so not a problem. I'm very pleased with the result and will be even happier if it continues to work in the long term.”
