“The mills are good to look at &easy to use. The rubber base which you remove to grind the condiments is useful to catch any stray salt & pepper after use & saves making a mess on the table. Just remember to empty it out before each meal just in case- although it’s only a little. The stopper on the top where you fill it tends to sit a little proud, but doesn’t come off at all. I am pleased with this good looking set & hope it lasts a good time with constant use.”

“Looks lovely and works well, with good different levels of coarseness. The top where it fills is not screw on and is a rubber stopper which is a bit loose and could be better designed. I’d still buy them again thiugh as they look lovely”

“I have been fighting with so many different S&P sets over the years, and the problem has always been that you need to use the same screw to refill the mill as you use to tighten the mechanism.Here the top is only used for refill, and it is very simple to use. No problem with overfilling or over-tightening the screw, which can damage the grinding mechanism. In this set the screw is at the bottom, set up once to the perfect grind and usually do not touch again.Highly recommended.”
