“I ordered the matt grey version of this grinder set. Unfortunately one of the grinders did not appear to function (grind) when filled with pepper. I immediately contacted Lars Nysom by email. Within the hour they had replied and confirmed a new set had already been dispatched to me. That is what I call excellent service and was very impressed with them. The replacement arrived within 2 days.These grinders are very modern looking and would grace any kitchen or table.They came well packaged in foam in a box. There were no instructions, but not generally required for this type of item as you just fill-and-grind. Presented how they are they would make a lovely present.The bottom of the grinder is enclosed with the rubber cap, this prevents any spillage when not being used. Any bits that drop from the grinder and are caught on the rubber cap can easily be emptied away and cap washed if needed.You fill the grinder from the top by pulling out the upper "plug". On my set one of the plugs is not quite as tight as the other for decorative purposes, but both are firmly on (press and click) and you can't knock them off whilst in use as the position of your hand is further down the grinder when grinding. Some reviews have said there is a big gap between the main grinder unit and the top plug. I'd say this is about 1mm and is hardly noticeable. This is because the plugs do not screw in on a tread only push in.These grinders hold a lot and there'll probably be a long time in between re-fillsThe Lars Nysom brand name is printed on the lower part of the grinders, but the text is narrow and in a modern font and it can hardly be seen for those that prefer not to have brand names embellished on products.Straight from the box the grinder will probably need some adjustment depending on how fine or chunky you want the contents to be. I found that turning the black plastic screw in very small increments gave the best results, especially with the one being used for pepper.My only concern was the grinder unit itself and the robustness of it. However, researching other similar grinders before purchasing this one, it looks like they are all use this type with a combination of metal and plastic screw.Overall I am happy with the look, feel and performance and hope that my grinders will last a few years or so.”

“Sehr schönes edles Produkt. Hübsch und praktisch zum Hinstellen in der Küche und auf keinen Fall in der Schublade verstecken. 1 Stern Abzug, weil das matt-graue Außenmaterial sehr kratzempfindlich ist. Fingernagel oder Putzlappen kann schon zu sichtbaren Kratzer führen. Daher eher vorsichtig damit umgehen. Ansonsten empfehlenswert. Mahlgrad kann eingestellt werden. Super sind auch die runden Silikon-„Füße“ auf denen sie stehen und auf die man sie leicht mit einer Hand „andrücken“ und zurückstellen kann, so dass kein Sal oder Pfeffer „ausläuft“.”
