“When I would do individual lashes for myself I would use the strip glue--I knew when it was time to take it off my lashes wouldn't come off, too. I was seduced by lash extensions because my friend's have them and they looked fabulous. I went to their extension artist and loved the final product (I woke like this, I woke up like this) BUT I HATED getting them done: it freaked me out when she taped my bottom eyelid down and I hated having to be still. The glue made my eyes burn and it took forever. I noticed that when she removed the old extensions she sometimes removed lashes with them. Lastly, I loved when they were fresh and lush, but by the time came for a refill they were sparse and tired. I let them grow out a couple of months ago and vowed to leave the whole process be. Nobody I know uses Lashify--they either get extensions or use strips for special occasions so I was hesitant. Also it is an expensive investment. Sure the kit is 150 but I also bought the pre-cleanse and a night bond and a makeup removing puff. That stuff adds up. The process is intuitive if you have ever done lashes for yourself before and put on mascara, it will be easy. I ordered the Amplify kit and I am not a fan--my review reflects the potential as I have ordered more dense lashes. If you like lush lashes either piece a kit together or try bold or order extra lashes as these are thin and very natural looking. I like volume. Also, I have small eyes which means the 14s actually touch my eyebrows (I always put on the short individual lashes and asked for short to medium when I am getting extensions); so to recap they are thinner and longer than I would like, but I am still giving this product 4 stars because I am converted. I have ordered E10 and E12 (fluffy was sold out in 12mm) and I cannot wait to get them. I have finally found an eyelash compromise I can live with.”
