“Had a great time at The Gunpowder Plot Experience. It was an excellent way to learn about history. I have deducted 1 star of due to the cost of drinks in the break, a mocktail cost £10 which I thought was extortionate. Otherwise great experience.”

“The actors were top of their game. Stayed in character throughout and added some great humour. VR is very clever although quality was a little low at times. The story is quite intense and could be too much for some children.
Food is basic but came out to us pretty quick. We had pre-ordered as there was 16 of us.
Staff were very clear and sorted all our needs. I would go again and indo recommend it. Well done. Only 4 stars due to the food.”
“We thought the actors were all great but the sets lacked variety and detail. Obviously, visitor safety is a major concern but interlinking areas could be made much more realistic. Good family fun though and would recommend.
However, be warned, drinks are quite expensive and in the bar area a 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill, which we objected to, over £24 for two small cocktails was too much. We are both generous people normally but thought this was a bit off.”
