“If you have done War of the Worlds, which set a high level, youay be disappointed with Gunpowder Plot. There were several things wrong with it
Negatives:
1. Not enough time to adjust VR sets and also VR sets temperamental with intermittent pauses, blackouts and video messages spoint the experience.
2. Story wishy washy and interaction between actors and patrons only average.
3. Long wait in a corridor (half way round) of 5 minutes and nobody knew what the delay was.
4. Be careful of the lockers. Our key opened already occupied lockers. Member of staff knew that the lockers were faulty.
5. Servers (table service) slow in pre bar. Had to attract them for service.
Positives:
6. When it worked properly the VR added to the experience and added value.
Overall if they correct some aspects of the experience then it is a great 2 hours.
Would I visit again ... No but certainly enjoy War of the World's again.”
“Excellent concept as was acting and atmosphere. Only criticism concerns the code breaking where only a couple of people could participate. Also would be useful to know that a credit card is needed during the experience and phones could be taken in.”

The VR was exciting, liked the view over London and the ships on the Thames , not perfect as the technology isn’t there yet , bit uncomfortable for someone that wears glasses . Overall great experience”
“I know the story well and thought that it was well presented and further, the story raised numerous questions from my 10-year-old grandson. The only criticism is that I am deaf and wear two implants, both on either side of my head. Thus, the head headset was difficult to wear and adjust. One of the assistants did come to my rescue on the last section but by the time it was sorted out I had missed King James' speech. I don't think that I had the full benefit of the other two interactive sections.”
“The gunpowder plot is a fabulous interactive experience that you will definitely remember, remember.
The sets and actors are superb and from beginning to end it is totally engrossing.
A highly recommended and very enjoyable experience”
