“I really wanted to like these shoes and was looking forward to rock them. I ordered the 42 and 43 to find the optimal fit and I believe I fall right in the middle. 42 had my toes right against the tip of the shoe and 43 had my foot float in the toe box requiring too much tightening which in turn caused uneven pressure and wrinkling.
In addition to that, the protective plastic “piping” around the ankle stops at an awkward place digging in the skin, very uncomfortable and giving them an “unfinished/Poor quality” impression.
As my point of reference, I currently sport Fizik Overcurve X3 shoes and was looking for something a bit more relaxed and with a bit more breathing room for the toes for longer days in the saddle but unfortunately the Quoc sizing model did not work for me and the overall shoe build left me with a poor impression for the selling price. All that being said, I cannot comment on durability or quality of materials since I didn’t end up having the chance to try them on my bike. I do wish Quoc would make half sizes.”
