I've never spent this much money on a pair of cycling shoes, and I'm glad I did! With the current summer sale, I was able to get them for slightly less than RRP. They arrived in perfect condition, and shipping was very quick and reliable; I live in California. The shoes themselves are beautiful. They HAVE to go with white socks and a white helmet. If you're wearing white shoes, do yourself a favor and find some white socks to match them. If you don't like the feel of cycling socks, you can always wear some merino sock liners underneath, which is what I do. The euro sizing for these shoes is SPOT ON. I wear the Euro 43, and they fit perfectly. If you're coming from Shimano shoes, the euro size matches between these two brands. The dials are excellent, as they can be set to release tension by turning them in the backwards direction, and tightening by turning them forwards. This is particularly helpful when you want to dial in your fit with the top dial while riding. No need for pulling the dial out, or dialing it back. Just release the tension, ride for a while, and dial it to tighten with one click forward. Perfect fit achieved. To take the shoes off, just dial them one click back, and take them off. No fuss. Lastly, I hate the tongues on shoes. They always droop to the side after wearing the shoes for a while. Because of the simply elegant design of the Mono 2s, this isn't an issue at all. If I had to put a con out there, I'd say the cleat graduation markings aren't exactly a mirror image on each of the shoes, so if you're trying to put cleats on, and you're going by the graduation markings, you might find the cleat positioning to be asymmetrical. You'll need to play with this to get it right. Strap your bike to a trainer and take your time. It took me about a half hour, but I also use 0-float cleats. Cleats with float may have more room for error. Or get a bike fit. Have I mentioned how beautiful these shoes are?? BUY THEM and level up your cycling fashion game.
