“The product itself is nice and lightweight and doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily however the smell is terrible. Their other products I have smell heavenly so maybe I just got a bad batch but that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars”
Aloha Kari! I am sorry to hear that you are not a fan of the scent of Aloha Ambrosia- but we completely understand that scent is such a personal preference. A tip that helps: shake your bottle well before use and apply one pump to fingertips, emulsify well and then apply to the skin. This will help dissipate the jasmine essential oil. I also recommend applying to damp skin freshly misted with Citrus and Citrine Toning Mist- the neroli and jasmine smell heavenly when blended together, and that combo will make your skin sing!
“I cannot get enough of this product. For starters, jasmine is my favorite scent and instantly takes me back to the islands of Kauai. I’ve loved using this in the morning as a moisturizer, it is a wonderful primer under my makeup to give me an all-day glow, and even if it didn’t provide any of those benefits, I’d use it as a perfume to lift my spirit and bring about peace and calm. The smell is divine and the consistency is perfect, so moisturizing and not oily or heavy at all. I often put this on and go for a run or do a quick workout after and I never have to worry about my skin clogging up or not being able to breathe. Such a beautiful formula. I have very sensitive skin and I love all her product, and by all, I mean all. There is only two I do not have yet (translates to: planning on getting it soon), and that is the Kokoleka Purifying Mask and one of the Coco Infusion oils. The site says: "♡ PREPARE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR SKINCARE RITUAL" and she wasn't kidding you at all. I love using this every morning after washing my face and misting with the Bohemian Ruby Balancing Toning Mist. It smells divine (like everything else) and it keeps my skin soft and supple. I don't get any irritation and it does not cause any breakouts. My skin is just dewy.”
