I have normal (not too oily, not too dry) skin, and prefer a thicker mask for exfoliation. He has oily skin, and prefers a more frothy, thin mask. This brush was able to handle both consistencies without issue, holding enough product from the bowl, and wiping enough evenly onto the skin without being runny or cakey.
It's also a comfortable size to fit in the hand. There is enough handle to grasp, yet it's small enough to fit in my toiletry bag without squashing the hairs.

“This brush is probably the softest one that I own. You can tell it’s well made. I bought it specifically to use with my Meli Glow mask, since it’s so sticky. But I think the mask actually applies better with my fingertips. The brush causes it to pull across my skin instead of just spreading. I’m hoping it’ll work better with some of the other masks.”
