“I’ll be brutally honest, I hated this product. I love and have everything else in Leahlani’s skincare line, some I’ve purchased repeatedly. I bought every product under the recommendations for oily/combination skin in Black Friday 2020 to give the routine a go. For people who do enjoy the Kalimalima Cleansing Powder, it’s a positive that this bottle will last forever. It took me well over a year to finally finish it and I was so happy to toss it once it was empty. Possibly took me longer because midway through I was having bad break outs that led me to pay for $100+ facials, where the esthetician looked through my recommended Leahlani skincare routine and figured out this cleanser was likely prolonging and spreading my hormonal monthly acne by physically pushing bacteria around my face. She advise me to reduce the use of the powder and added salicylic acid daily cleanser to my routine which by my 3rd month, I no longer needed to go for expensive facials. Personally advise skipping this cleansing powder, it’s messy and a lot is wasted when pouring out. If anything, go for the Kokoleka Purifying Mask to give yourself a treat when in need of the lovely clay properties!”
