“I’ll start by saying I absolutely love this brand and the quality of their products. I’ve used several of their products ranging from their face masks and cleansers to their face oils and have loved them all and they’ve helped my skin tremendously. This product however wasn’t anything like what was described. I prefer powder cleansers so I’ve used a lot and this one wasn’t anything like the others I’ve used. I tried it multiple ways, from using it with a few drops to more to create a mouse like they claim it does. It didn’t mix well at all with the water and created this weird paste that was hard to work with. That’s not even the part I mind about the product as I know natural products don’t always emulsify. After I rinsed it off, it left a weird residue on my skin and a red tint that I think was from the clay. I wiped it off using my toner and a cotton pad and a ton of red came off. It left so much residue and tint on my skin that I had to use two pads to get it all off. Cleansers shouldn’t leave residue left over on the skin as that defeats the purpose of a cleanser. I normally wouldn’t leave a negative review but they don’t accept returns and don’t offer refunds so to anyone looking to buy, keep this in mind! Especially before spending over $50.”
“I have been looking high and low for a scrub/mask that I could enjoy in the shower while I'm doing other things. Kalima has been perfect for this! I have found the formula creamy in my hand with just a few drops of water added and thinner when applied to my face, but that doesn't impact the effectiveness in any way. My skin is glowing and so smooth after using Kalima -- like, smooth as in feeling like I did a peel. It's amazing. I love the product!”
