“Before using this, I was skeptical due to the soda bicarbonate used in Kalima but the moment I put in on my face, all my skepticism flew out the window.
Although I forgot to let it froth first before putting it on my face (it was in cream/paste form), the scent of Kalima is simply too gorgeous and delicious for words. It's so addicting and I had to stop myself from actually wanting to lick it - it smells that delicious.
I am sensitive to scents and also have sensitive skin that reacts easily, but the fragrance is so natural that I can't help sniffing it all the time. I've used this twice only but I did not breakout from this wonderful cleansing powder.
Last but not least, I did not expect it to be filled to the brim. This makes me so happy as well!

“Just like everything Leah creates, this cleansing powder smells incredible. I want to eat it every time I wash my face with it!! I have never used a powder based cleanser before, so it is a little hard to get used to the mixture consistency and application, but it helps me to slow down my ritual and really relax and enjoy the cleansing process. I'm sure it would help if I purchased the mask bowl and brush set, as I have been mixing in the palm of my hand and it gets a little messy. But I love the results I am seeing, have been using this for over a month and it has helped clear up my acne and overall redness/sensitivity. Very pleased!”

“When I first seen this cleanser online, I passed on it because I thought I just couldn't be bothered with a powder cleanser. WRONG. I received a generous sized sample with one of my orders and oh my gosh. The smell is my favorite out of all the beautiful Leahlani products. It gives a mild exfoliation and rinses easily. The main thing for me is that after rinsing, I have absolutely no flaking or tightness which is a huge deal for me. Even with cleansers/exfoliants that are supposed to be gentle, they still leave me with tight skin that can be extremely uncomfortable. This is an A++ product for me.”

“My skin at its worst, is oily, a little uneven in skin tone, uneven texture, minimal breakouts, but visible pores. I double cleanse and use this as my first cleanser. It smells like coconut chocolate and orange! I love activating it with a few drops of the Boho Ruby mist and letting it sit on my face for a couple of minutes! When I wash off my face it is soft, smooth and bright. After introducing this to my routine, my skin is a lot smoother and even toned. The exfoliation is tremendously effective!
I also love how travel friendly it is! Since I'm still in University, I travel to and from home a lot (miss you HI), and oil/gel cleansers always seem to leak in my luggage. I won't have to worry with this. I'm definitely a Leahlani Skincare worshipper! Mahalo!”
