“Fantastic torch. Feels like a quality piece of kit. Very impressed with the light pattern when opened up to flood light. Lights up a massive area very evenly. Spot light throws an impressive distance too. Magnetic charge system is solid and works a treat.”

“My husband loved this for his Christmas present. Having has a P7 previously that broke ( warranty did cover!) he was desperate for another one. The magnetic recharging dock is his favourite bit plus the light is so much brighter. Thank you!”

“I was very disappointed not to be able to replace my P17R which I had lost but the P7R is a very adequate replacement albeit smaller and more convenient to handle. The P7R, however, does not appear to have beam coverage to the same degree as its predecessor but otherwise is certainly is fit for purpose. The torch is of very sound construction and appears to be very durable, particularly for outside use.”

“Torch is very bright and seems pretty durable. The option of being able to reverse the light modes is very good, since most times you want to start it in the lowest light mode first. I do recommend it. There are some drawbacks: The beam adjust locking mechanism doesn't seem to be working. But that's ok, since the hood has enough sliding resistance to stay in place without any problems. Since the flashlight is entirely round, it will roll off most surfaces. The bottom of the flashlight is rounded, do you can't put it on a table facing up to light up an entire room. Since the construction is entirely metallic, you can't hold it in your mouth if you need both hands free. The last 3 issues could be solved by fitting a rubber sleeve to the bottom part of the flashlight. Other than that, it's great.”

“This torch is fantastic it deserved 5 stars but there is one let down, having used the lenser p7.2 for the last couple if years the larger rear button is easy to use with your thum the smaller button on the p7r is a bit fiddly especially with gloves on. Other than that the torch is great maybe there will be a p7.2r in the future with a bigger power button.”
