“This is my first purchase from Lee Valley, and it seems you sure do get what you pay for! The build quality this honing guide is incomparable. All metal, very solid. Everything fits together and works perfectly. If you're a newbie like me and need help with sharpening, I definitely would recommend this guide. 4 stars instead of 5 as I think the instructions on how to set up for the chisel/iron width could be more clear. The guide itself is great.”

“Incredibly solid construction.. brilliant tool / jig that has now saved many of my previously solidly tortured chisels. It does require some focus to get your chisel aligned within the jig and make sure the micro bevel is either on or off depending on your desire .. (yes I made that mistake). Solid as a rock and works like a charm!!”
