“These chisels arrive sharp and ready to use. The backs are perfectly flat so no need for further honing unlike many other manufacturer offerings. The balance is great and the treated maple handles feel great in the hand. The edges are ground to a fine point so if you like to hold the blade while using you might want to run a fine file to dull them a bit or you could get cut if holding too tight. I like this feature as they work great for cleaning up dovetails in angled and tight spaces where the fine side edges can work well for maximum reach. The PMV-11 sharpens easily and the edges are long lasting. Wish I discovered these sooner before I purchased less desirable tools as these have become my every task chisel for daily working and the others just sit in a drawer.”
