“Unfortunately it did not work as advertised cannot use it as a binocular type of tool for close up of anything. Maybe as a microscope, but the kids have lost interest. Would not recommend it.”

Thank you for your review and feedback. The Pocket Microscope is designed for very close-up viewing at 20-40X magnification, so it won't focus on objects from a distance like binoculars or a traditional magnifying glass. It can be used with or without the slide-holder base for inspecting things such as tool edges, plants and other small objects. We hope this helps clarify how it is intended to be used.
