“I don't mind helping my wife to open jars for the first time, but I am not always around to do so. I bought a jar opener for my wife several years ago and I can't remember the last time I was asked to help open a jar. I even use it myself for jars that have an extra strong seal. We recently bought one for my sister, and she is thrilled to have one.”

“Would highly recommend. For either those with less strength in their hands than they are used to or arthritis sufferers. Live that it has one side for small/ short lips and one side for the wider lipped jars. Two thumbs up”

“This is a clever, useful little gadget. My previous ways of opening stubborn lids on jars were (1) banging the top on the floor or (2) trying to squeeze and turn the lids with the handles of scissors or wide pliers. But (1) banging always felt dangerous -- as if the whole jar would crack; and (2) some lids were too wide for any tools that I had. This little prying gadget efficiently and effectively does the job in a couple of seconds.”

“Got this to help open sealed jars post finger surgery. This is such a good product and super easy to use. I would not have bought it otherwise but it is well worth it. So much faster and easier than using a church key bottle opener or a grip cloth or running hot water over it! Wish I had it years ago. Especially great for those with arthritis or hand weakness or poor finger dexterity but very useful for anyone.”
