“This is not a dovetail chisel. It is not anywhere close. It is built like a mortise chisel, very deep top to bottom and broad flat sides, the opposite of what you want in a dovetail chisel where the edge has to fit into a 1:6 or even 1:4 corner. I am getting the runaround from Lee Valley, telling me to check again and again whether I am mistaken. Take a look at the accompanying photograph and judge for yourself.”
