I grow plants from seed in the winter with grow lights. Sometimes we start a bit too early and the plants have to be transplanted before setting out in the spring...I start with hydroponics , utilizing a grow tent in our basement with coconunt coir, and setting into a 1020 tray with nutrient water... I use Master Blend, that you can purchase in Canada at Gecko in BC... What I like about these seed banks, is they are broke up into six packs, that are more manageable to handle, and they have holes in the bottom that you can use to push the plants out....... I usually transfer these before spring to a small woven bag and stay on hydroponics until we hit spring....then I transfer most to soile and leaf mold.....That said, I have at times had to many tomato plants, and with them, I transfer to a 5 inch x 13 inch small woven grow bag, and place them in a 1020 tray to continue hydroponics....Hope this helps some of you- This is a life long learning experience, and glad to share and help, John
