“l LOVE having a ratchet pruning tool ... this is not my first. l have a large lot with lotsa trees so there is pruning to do and clean-up of fallen branches, even entire limbs. Past about an inch in diameter, less for harder wood, l can use the pruners rather than a saw and this is absolutely NOT POSSIBLE with a one-move pruner. This tool saves me a lot of time. l bought two at once because sometimes they break and sometimes l lose them, even tho l paint the handles an unnatural shade of pink.”

“I love this pruner. The blades are sharp and the ratcheting feature cuts through any reasonable sized branch. There are branches where the diameter of the branch is beyond the scope of this tool. For those branches I use a larger version 5 stars and I am glad Lee valley is carrying it”

“It works as advertised, cuts cleanly, seems well-built, and is reasonably priced. However, I would prefer to use a non-ratcheting hand pruner or a powered pruner with the same cut capacity - both of which are much speedier.”
