“Until buying three of these ball valves for my outdoor taps, my wife and I frequently cursed the inferior units we bought from our local hardware store. When we told our plumber that we were thinking of replacing them with Lee Valley's "Y shut-off valves" he immediately said, "They are the best on the market." We are glad to have them because they are so perfectly made and the long levers make them a pleasure to use.”

“Solid, well-made - does the job perfectly. I don't ever see a need to replace it. The handles make it easy to turn off/on, and the seals are tight. Worth every penny.”

“This faucet is fantastic. The quality is the best I have ever had. The on and off levers are so easy to use. I have had many many faucets but they all leak and the on and off levers are hard to use and get more difficult after a year. I am pretty sure this faucet will last for a very long time. It is pure quality”

“These shut off valves from Lee Valley are great. I have been slowly replacing all the cheap original valves in my yard that leaked and corroded. They survive the winter and summer here and just keep working. They are easy to install (I do have to shut off the outside water first) and look and feel very sturdy. The handles are long and so easy to turn. The only complaint is one that is specific to me. To open the valve, the handle needs to be parallel with the outlet. If you are attaching a hose, this is not a problem. However, if you are attaching something bulky like an irrigation timer, you have to open the valve first, then attach the timer as it is too bulky and will block the handle.opening. So not a problem for most but a problem for me.”
