Kind of fiddly to put on, but it seems to work. No bird hits since it went on a month ago and we used to get two or three a week on our glass-walled sunroom. Very pleased with the effectiveness and unobtrusive look.

Il a fallu attendre quelques minutes avant de décoller le ruban sinon les marqueurs se décollaient aussi.

I like the looks of the white squares, and sometimes you don't even notice them. Excited at the prospect of no more bird strikes! Applying the product was labor intensive! Gave up working with the supplied measuring tapes and just eyeballed it. Looks fine. It was exasperating when the squares would transfer to the back side of the rolled tape when you unrolled it, but even worse was when you could not get the square pieces to let go of the backing and stay on the window. Sometimes I would be rolling along just fine and think "now I have it," and then there would be a series of stubborn squares that just finally ended up in the waste basket. Good thing the instructions said to not use a store window cleaner as it might contain silicone. Wish this product could be applied on the inside of windows that are too far up to reach.

I suggest purchasing this product from the manufacturer's site, not Lee Valley. The price is lower. The assortment is better. In addition, the manufacturer's site says "Install the markers within 1 month of purchase for optimal results". Lee Valley doesn't mention this. There's no "best before" date on the box, so you have no way of knowing how long the product may have been stored in a warehouse. I had a very poor installation experience with this product after ordering three boxes from Lee Valley. There was a lot of profanity. It was frustrating and time consuming. It might have been because the boxes sat on my bench for eight weeks before I attempted installation. There is a bit of skill and practice involved in the installation. My first window (photo attached) was the worst. I have no way to know if that result was because the of the product, or poor installation technique on my part. Subsequent windows were better, but not trouble-free. I'd guess that 10 to 20% of the markers overall failed to stick to the glass. In addition, there were a few instances of improperly spaced markers on the tape, so those sections had to be discarded. Lastly, I'd suggest you watch various installation videos to find a method that will be best for you. The video linked in the installation doc was not good for me.

I bought two packages of this tape, spent around $75, about an hour or so to install and it didn’t work. A bird hit my window. I even have it spaced less than 2 inches apart. Very disappointed.

We're disappointed to hear this was your experience, especially after taking the time to install it carefully. For others considering it, the tape is designed to help make glass more visible to birds, but effectiveness can vary depending on light conditions, reflections, and the surrounding environment. Even with close spacing, some situations can still be challenging. We’ll be in touch to see how we can help.

This is a simple product which does its job well. It was fairly easy to install, taking roughly an hour for each sliding glass door we applied it to. It's low-waste. Everything adhered well and we expect to get years of saved birds from it. The dots are a slight visual distraction, but worth it to protect the wildlife.

Installation was easy however some of the dots stuck on to other dots on the roll. This didn't materially affect the overall design. We have had it up a few weeks and have had no bird hits. After trying just about everything else to eliminate bird hits on our windows we are happy with this product and the results so far.
