“We purchased this same Lanterna Lamp many years ago and have always appreciated the usefulness it provided in power outages and as an extra light source when required. “This wouldn't work at all with the batteries that came with it. Put in my own batteries and got it working but I find it difficult. It doesn't respond easily to changing light intensity. Will keep it for emergencies as a backup but would not purchase it again. I am surprised as everything I have bought over many years has always been good quality.”

“Works very well with ne touch. Hold on to the top and the light will dim or brighten. Had a power outage and they were real handy and convenient. Would be nice if they were rechargeable rather then battery operated but still a great deal on sale.”

“Responsive to touch, nice sleek design, nice size overall. Provides just enough (with 2) ambiant light to enjoy an enening on the deck if situated in close proximity. Would like to see a move to other battery types although not a show stopper by any means.”
