“We bought the ceramic watering spikes for our front urns, and for our four back yard pots. All plantings are a good size and we were worried about the plantings surviving while going to the cottage during heat spells. We used the spikes with clear wine bottles and the effect was very good. The flowers all survived very well for a week away and were well hydrated upon return. Our only caution is to NOT press the bottle into the spike too hard as there is a chance of splitting the spike. So gentle is the way to go. Will order more for similar flower pots at the cottage!”
