“This is a powerful flexible sander with the typically good Festool dust extraction. It is however quite hard to control in rotary mode and not a pleasant machine to use. While these seem to have replaced belt sanders, for many uses belt sanders are much better offering better removal with much less effort, though of course the rotex does not have tracking issues and offers much better dust extraction.”
