“The trouble to install this requires the patience of a saint (and deep pockets for electrician).
The back plate is plastic, with insufficient room for wiring or wiring length should you need to remove entire glass fitting to replace bulb or clean. I had to cut off the plastic prongs that hold connector in place, so that this and wiring could slide into compartment under bulb (there's no where else for wiring to go). On uneven brick I needed to drill out 10mm holes, then fill with bog. Once dry, it was possible to screw back plate onto wall precisely level (I also had to cut screws down by a third).
The back plate should be powder coated black metal, with sufficient room for wiring and the light fitting attached (like bunker lights). The glass cover and frame should clip on separately and be easily removed should the bulb need replacing and internal glass cleaned (you shouldn't require an electrician to remove and refit as is presently the case).
When it comes to needing to clean or replace bulb... I will take to it with an axe and replace.”
