“Bought this as I was concerned about chemicals leaching into the water from the plastic drinker. Although the stainless steel appears to be food grade, the product defeats the object by using a very toxic-smelling flexible plastic stopper in the base. The water container also can't be removed from the base which means cleaning out the algae will be a problem. Other than that, it's well put together and pretty solid.”

“Very well made, however carry handle could be bigger,( heavy on fingers), refilling a bit awkward and washing out will not be easy , otherwise very good quality. Thank you. Andy Scott.”

“This arrived safely and promptly. It is sturdy and my 6 chickens seem to like it. I am not sure that you can put anything like cider vinegar in it though, because I am told that any products, other than water, are not good for the poultry drinker and can erode it. This was not evident under the description of the product on the website. It's not too much of a problem because on the days when I want to put something in the chickens' water, I can use my previous plastic poultry drinker. Overall, the product has met my expectations and rather than hang it in my aviary, I have placed it on a couple of breeze blocks to keep it off the ground. The water flows nicely and does not get too dirty. It will keep the water cool in the summer, but I think it might be a challenge leaving the water out in the winter, as it could easily get frozen solid in the stainless steel poultry drinker. It looks nice and smart in amongst my chickens and I am very pleased with the product.”
