“I have only possessed the grease bands for a few days, but can say that they are easy to fit and the grease looks as if it ought to deter ill-intentioned insect visitors to my apple tree. Warning! Try to avoid as far as possible getting grease on your fingers: it's a bit difficult to remove.”

“The grease bands are folded in half so are (relatively) easy and clean to handle. Once the girth of the tree(s) have been established, and the band cut to overlap, then it is best to have help to keep the band from curling on itself whilst opening out the strip. Once round the tree, the supplied wire fastening is easy to cut and use—fare easier than twine as it does not need knotting. They were easy to order and were delivered swiftly.”
